Well, today began with me frantically rushing through History during Math.
Yes, thats right,
History during Math. Because, I happily realised that in the midst of all the powerpoint slides I had to complete, I FORGOT TO FINISH MY 20 MARKS HISTORY FA.
Oh, bang.
I
did complete it in the end though, by skiving off recess. PE was delightfully enriching, for I managed to sprint both the 2 rounds, and play a decent game a rugby afterward. Still not prepared for 2.4 though. I think I'd probably have to make do with a B, sadly, unless Mr Ben( who's going to come back after CNY. Sigh, I'll miss the RJC gal teaching us. For, she's really quite funky and like sakina said, has SEXY LEGS. ) makes us run 4 rounds again.
Anyway, a little note.
TIEN LI, BALLS ARE NOT SCARY MONSTERS. CATCH THE GODDAMN BALL NEXT TIME. please.
Speaking of balls, I was happily attempting to bounce the rugby ball, when it slipped out of my grasp and flipped over and over, sorta like a cartwheel, approximately 50 metres away. My oh my. And this happened when everybody else were scoring hoops using the rugby ball.
The rest of the day passed pretty normally, Chem and English were the same as usual. And then came history.
*insert random loud bursts of laughter*
So. We had to do a group presentation and our group was doing a skit on the church+peasants vs the ideas of Galileo. And we recreated practically the entire monty python video. Complete with headbanging.
Ingenious no?
CLE was pretty disturbing, one could say. We had a talk on total defence day and watched a discovery channel video on the beslan school seige in Russia, by terrorists. It was really sad to see all those innocent kids, killed merely because they stood in the way of politics. And the president too, Vladimir Putin, How DARE HE BE ON HOLIDAY. INNOCENT PEOPLE WERE BEING MURDERED YOU DIMWIT. Sigh, how I wish there was world peace.
Ok end of save-the-world moment.
Anyway, today, I also went for my first DEBATE PRACTICE SESSION.
It was... great, i suppose. Met really nice people there, and the old ones, like Janna, Joey, Brenda Lee, Bobo. It was quite fun actually. We were supposed to start off by giving many reasons as to why I should be the one in the bomb shelter when there is an attack. Since our group was high, we said, BECAUSE WE ARE FEMALE AND WE CAN PROCREATE, UNLIKE YOU. HAH.
Then again, maybe I wont.
Afterwards we proceeded to carry out a mock debate session on why uniforms should be abolished. I was in the proposition team, 2nd speaker. Spoke rather incoherently though, since most of it was really improvisation. Oh wells, this should improve over time though.
Soon after debate ended ( 5.30 ), me, bobo and brenda lee went over to Far East and ate fries at the new carls jr. Was rather expensive, so remind me to NEVER EAT THERE ON A SCHOOL DAY AGAIN. to make a point. And then we went home on the (crowded) MRT together. Whopdabopdeedee.
Ok, now that I've finished typing this whole, mindless account of the mundane matters of my mundane world ( alliteration! ), I.FEEL.LIBERATED.
And now, HINDI. CHARGE!!!
