Ahh I am finally here, to post about geog trip. But as my stupid camera chose to run out of battery at this exact moment, I cant put pictures :( But I shall still post randomn quotes...

Day 1.

Geog trip started off very very early in the morning. We had to be in school by 6.30am! Ahhh and for late risers like me, it is very sad. But we all slept like 2hrs before coming to the immigration check point. And lava, being careless as usual, lost her white card.

Lava: OMG I cant find it!
the rest: REALLY LAVA SEARCH FOR IT!
Mrs Ho: Its ok, you can get another one...
Lava: oh.

Haha so yah, then we all happily slept for 5 hrs on the bus and the poor tour guide ( he was called JIT SINGH ahahahahaha ) was trying to wake us up by telling us about the wonderful city of KL but sadly, no one listened and he too gave up and went back to sleep. Then midway, we stopped for lunch in some amusement park cum mall thingy. And the saddest thing was, despite there being a subway and macs, they took US ( veg ppl ) to a randomn thai restaurant where the food was TERRIBLE. And they took a LONGGGGGGG time to serve it. Like 1hr or so...

everyone: Ahh we are hungry, finally we should be getting food...
45 min later
everyone: Wheres the Damn FOOD?
1hr later
Ppl getting restless and come back from their roaming around the mall
everyone: The foods still not here??

Finally, 1hr 15 min later, the food arrives. And lava happily knocks down the water jug with her wallet.

Me: Lava you just spillt water.
*lava stones*
Me: URM LAVA WE NEED HELP HERE! U JUST SPILLT SPILLT AN ENTIRE JUG!
Lava: *Happily drinks from my glass*
The rest: HEY LAVA GET THE WATER OFF THE TABLE WONT U?
Lava: wakes up and says, Oh who spillt water?
The rest: -.-

Hahaha. And after the food was served...

nandita: this soup is just water and vegetables.
me: correction. this soup is just SALTwater and vegetables.
lava: * picks up tofu* this tastes like erasers and looks like erasers too.
me: I have a bad feeling we are going to eat fish food for the next three days.
lava: dammit. I knew I should have brought instant noodles.

me: lava pass the eraser please and a little sea water too.
lava: * passes tofu and randomn soup.
nandita: DAMMIT! we are like eating stationery at a restaurant.
me: Ahhh thats why it is called a POPULAR restaurant...
lava: the sad life of a vegetarian:)

me: * points to wierd specimen on table* whats that?
rhubbini: its fried butter or something.
abigail: no its fried butter prawns.
nandita: * stops chewing on the "butter prawns" * WHAT.

Then we got back on the coach and went to Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, which are like mini business centres. Very futuritic places. Haha we all behaved like kids there in the playground. It was fun though. Then we went to two malls, where we were supposed to buy our own dinner and we went to DOMINOES :D

Randomn waiter: Blabbers on and on in malay
we: stunned and use hand signals to convey messages
randomn waiter: stares and takes down order
after we finish eating, and the bill arrives
randomn waiter: asks very nicely, how was ur meal
we: WTH U SPOKE ENGLISH!

Yah so the malls were really huge there , sorta reminded me of vivocity actually. And there was this huge pet store in it with all kinds of dogs :) The second mall was even better and I bought a black adidas bottle, with lime green stuff on it. WOOTS, It rocks. And it only cost 15RM . Yay so basicly that was our first day, mostly shopping and sleeping.

Day 2

Woke up damn early. At 6am and went down for breakfast at aroun 6.45. Breakfast rocked, Whee there were choc covered muffins and lava happily went and dropped chocolate sauce on hereself haha. So we all went down to mangrove swamps, the journey took 2hrs and everyone slept again haha.

( in the mangrove forest)
guide: hello everyone! today we shall go trekking
and this where we shall jump into the mud
everyone: * gasps*
guide: this is where we walk in the mangrove, please come in groups of 10.
everyone: *nervous glance*

Yes so we all happily went into the wet, squelchy mud, wearing EXPENSIVE SPORTS SHOES, and sadly they all got spoiled gah. And one of my shoes happily got stuck in the mud and while trying to pull it out, I GOT STUCK and fell hahaha... But not as bad as lava, who fell 3 times hahaha...

Guide: You can use this mud in facials and stuff, very expensive. In the united states this mud will cost over hundreds of dollars.
Amelia: Maybe I can just throw my shoe at somebody for free.

Ahahaha and poor mrs ho was worried about us getting so dirty and all but siriusly, the experience was damn fun and a once in a life time thing. I would love to jump into the mud again, just not with expensive running shoes haha.

Then we walked back, we extremely muddy people, back to the entrance where there were toilets, shops and CIVILISATION.

lava: how long is there left?
guide: about 10 minutes?
everyone: groannnan
eternity later.
someone: how long is there left?
guide: 2-3 minutes?
me: she said the same thing about 20 min ago!

Well but we finally did reach the entrance and there was a tap there, which we all used to was our shoes haha. We were all squatting down like aunties and washing shoes happily under the hot hot sun. Some people gave up on scraping it with their nails and used their socks haha and threw them away later. Sadly many peoples shoe disintegreted... :( but mine didnt yay i love my reeboks haha...

Later before lunch, we all stopped at a randomn store and everyone bought slippers for like 2 RM haha... and they were so comfy that we wore them the whole day... Lunch was good, they gave us fried rice and thankfully no saltwater. We then had a lecture on padi fields and went to see a rice mill and stuff and well it was interesting. Haha lava stole many many grains of rice. Bad bad girl .

Then we went back to mangrove swamp in the night, to watch the fireflies. Omg it seriously was just so beautiful... It was a full moon night, and in the dark mangrove swamp and clear water, it truly was beautiful watching millions of tiny fireflies glitter in the shaded trees... It was so magical I guess. Then, upon going outside, there were some fireflies on the trees outside and we tried to catch them. :) Fiery was a good friend to us, he will always be remembered for the way he used to glow when we touched him...

Then we had dinner, which wasnt very good but there was still papad :) yay. So we reached our hotel really late that night, around 11.30 and as we were all chatting until like 12.30 we finally slept at 2 hehe... But the next day we only had to wake up by 8.30 so it was ok.

3rd and final day.

Yay so we packed up and went to FRIM which is this tropical rainforest and we had to trek for a really really looooong time uphill as there was canopy walk thingy. It was really very very fun as we got to see and smell very nice stuff. :) One thing I hate though is that I got bitten by a stupid leech.

Me: * the leech happiily bites me while i stone *
Tisha: OMG THERE IS A LEECH ON YOUR LEG!!!!!!!
everyone: WTH WTH WTH R U OK???
me: AHH AHH AHH
guide: * calmly plucks leech and flicks it off. *

Good thing nothing happened, except for this really annoying red bump on my leg. It itchy, sort of like a mosquito bite, but I guess it will heal in a few days.

The canopy walk was simply awesome. It was lovely seeing the entire forest from a suspension bridge. I even managed to see the twin towers yay. After the canopy walk we all had to walk down again the long distance, and surprisingly this was scarier than climbing up, but less tiring of course. Haha me tisha and lava were happily swinging down the lianas to climb down.

By the end, we were all like sweaty buffalos and we went back to the cool aircon of the bus and drank pepsi haha. Then we had lunch, which was great, for once. Haha on the escalator Tisha said something absolutely hilarious and what made it absolutely hilarious was that JIT SINGH was standing right behind her when she said it! Haha then he probably got depressed and went off to smoke again....

The busride back was simply awesome, mainy because most of us were too hyper to sleep and much noise was made. We all were screaming and cracking jokes and singing, very loudly, the whole time hahaha. After like 4 hrs, when we saw that it was still 72 km to JB, we found it very funny and turned it into some kind of game show hahaha...

SURVIVOR: KL

1st day : 72 km to johor
2 weeks later: 5 km to johor
.2 YEARS later: 1 km to johor.
50 years later: hello mum? dad? im ur daughter speaking, I went for a fieldtrip about 50 years ago? ya im at Newton foodcourt now can u come and pick me up?
35 people.
50 years.
1 survivor.
* Git Singh pops up *
WHO WILL IT BE?

Hahaha we found it especially hilarious at that time, especially lavas impression of Git Singh hahaha...
And poor lava blew the first bubble of her life, and no one was looking. Tisha blew one that reached uptill her nose and burst and it was HILARIOUS seeing her covered in pink bubblegum haha...

Then we reached the checkpoint, and I happily left my whitecard on the bus and then at the counter, the woman was like maam, we cannot let you leave malaysia unless you have a card. And I was siriusly so freaked out but found it in the end haha. It was stuck at the bottom, wedged between the menthos. LOL. And at the Singapore checkpoint, they were checking our bags and stuff and Lava and Nandita also happily brought the trash bags along.

* trash bags go through screening*
Tisha: WOW, bags went in and trash came out.

Hahaha that was hilarious and they finally threw the trash away. And upon reaching Singapore Lava happily said, " Its great finally seeing the sign TOILET instead of TANDAS hahaha"

On the way to newton food court carpark, we passed my house as in we went right beside it! And I was like WTH I WANNA GET DOWN HERE. Gah. Haha then me and lava were stupidly calling each other on our handphones even though we were sitting right behind each other. And lava happily went and told her parents NOVENA instead of NEWTON but her parents were clever and read the paper and came to NEWTON. Haha and she kept asking me whether she left her luggage at the immigration and I was like, yes lava I am positive you pushed my bag down and wedged yours into the tiny gap between the bags. hahaha I can be mean sometimes...

All in all , GEOG TRIP WAS AWESOME! I really would love to go again! Woots, I must take revenge on the leech that bit me hahaha...

And now, as I feel very randomn, I will post the true friends test here, in my next post...
